Good Friday morning. Quick hitters this AM.

1) Really looking forward to seeing many of you in Casper, Wyoming over the weekend for our Lost Soldier Oil and Gas trip. Safe travels and feel free to call me at 832-524-5872 (cell) if I can be of service. There will be no VRA Investing Podcast today.

2) Following yesterdays Q3 GDP of 4.9%, all eyes have been on the bond market. Of everything that has the best market strategists that I know most focused on, interest rates take the top spot. Not the yield as much as it is the velocity of the move higher that we’ve seen in rates. IMO, this is our biggest black swan risk. If rates keep spiking…again, with speed of the move as focus…then there’s something else going on here. What might that something be? Sovereign credit risks are obviously the b...
