Good Wednesday morning. This morning China announced their own reciprocal tariffs against the US of 84%. The trade war picks up speed. IMO, the president may be exactly wrong to assume that the Chinese will cave to his will. When the plandemic happened, they shut their economy down completely for more than a year. The Chinese are proud people and do not make a habit of bending the knee. The risks, as we’re seeing in both the stock and bond markets, are surging.

As I write, Dow Jones futures are down 850 points (2.3%), with Japan closing down 3.9% and Germany currently down 4.2%. The 10 year yield has spiked to 4.47%. Gold is ramping $79/oz to $3068/oz (+2.6%) with Bitcoin trading down to $75,800 (-5%).

Alert: place a GTC stop loss on our new position in USD @ $25.76 (20% stop). Last: $29.50. It remains my hope that Trump has pushed this about as far as he’s going to…that the worst case scenario of a financial disaster and recession can still be avoided. The markets want to soar o...
