Good Thursday afternoon. We spoke with VGZ’s CEO this AM but will not be able to have our talk with X1’s CEO until their board meetings are over. Look for our X1 update in the next 24 hours. Good things are happening at X1….thats the primary takeaway.

Vista Gold (VGZ)

As it stands now, Sun Valley Gold appears to have no intention to either distribute more VGZ shares or sell any of their remaining 13% position. That’s the word from CEO Fred Earnest, meaning that the latest 3.4 million share transfer would be it…and it appears that yesterday’s selling pressure came from those shares being sold (hurriedly).

There are reports that Sun Valley is winding down operations but if true that does not mean the final holders would even want to sell their position in VGZ. Lots of speculative stuff here.
