VRA Market Update

Another mixed day of trading with the Dow Jones -408, even as Nasdaq jumped 215 and the S&P 500 hit a new ATH (as did the semis). The internals were pretty solid and the put/call ratio closed at a very low reading of .64 (lotta people buying calls). Update on near term risks; if we’re going to have a government shutdown, we’ll know over the weekend (prediction markets still say 73% chance for Saturday)...todays FOMC @ 2PM ET (Powells presser has been a constant risk since he got the job in 2018)...and the US armada surrounding Iran remains out there (not in the news much now)…and of course Q4 earnings pick up speed today with META, MSFT (bad charts…surprise to the upside?) and our favorite TSLA all reporting after the close.
