Good Monday morning. Saturdays assassination attempt of President Trump, which killed one and critically wounded two others, may still be in the early days of investigation but we know this with certainty; Barney Fife could have prevented this attack. The red flags on this story are everywhere.

Here’s what we know, based on widespread reporting and video evidence:

- Law enforcement/Secret Service (LE/SS) were made aware of a potential threat before the rally.

- LE/SS were alerted to the armed shooter as he walked towards, climbed up on the roof and then crawled across it. Multiple videos support this. - SS counter-snipers had their guns trained on the shooter for more than 40 seconds prior to the shooter firing his first shot. Again, multiple videos confirm this (follow me on Twitter @kherriage where I’ve posted these).

- Based on the latest reporting, the shooter was able to fire 5-8 rounds before fire was finally returned.

- Incredibly, they left Trump on stage speakin...
