Good Sunday afternoon. Heads up: US futures markets just opened with the Dow Jones -1400 and Nasdaq -900 (losses of 4-5%). Gold is trading +$5 @ $3043 while 10 yr yields are trading down to 3.85%. 

As VRA Members know, we've been a long term supporter of Trumps tariff ideas. We must fix decades of cheating which have hollowed out the middle class and made the US a sucker to the rest of the world. Trump is on the right track with the re-industrialization of America. However, if your approach to fixing the problem involves crashing the markets and risking a US/global systemic financial crisis, that’s something else altogether. Last Wednesday’s tariff announcements, followed by the meltdown in equity markets, has resulted in trillions in losses. 

In fact, from the ATH’s of just 44 days ago the stock market has now lost $11.1 trillion. With US GDP of $29.7 trillion, it must now be assumed that economic damage…not just in the stock market…is headed our way. He’s empowered his enemies ...
