Good Tuesday morning. As we covered yesterday (and last Monday), selling on a Monday is about the last thing you want to do. Also like last Mondays shellacking (DeepSeek), yesterdays weak open (Trade War) came with a sharp reversal higher which saw the Dow Jones recoup 85% of its opening losses while Nasdaq regained some 50% of its opening losses.

The question for this morning; like last weeks “Turnaround Tuesday” will we see a similar sharp move higher today as well? We expect the answer to that question will be “yes”. We’re just 2 weeks into Trumps second term and as much as Trump wants to bring our trading partners to heel, my highly educated guess is that Trump wants year 1 of term 2 to exhibit fireworks in the stock market.

As we’ve also been discussing, we’re already seeing animal spirits returning in style. The end result? Q1 earnings will produce big beats for American companies, which will juice equity markets higher.
