Good Monday afternoon. Running our VRA scans and screens after the close and seeing extreme oversold plus panic selling, which combined has likely led to a short term capitulation event.

We saw what happened to the market today when it was mistakenly reported that a 90 day extension was being granted. 7% move higher in minutes.

For this trade we recommend buying in after hours trading (prior to the open tomorrow). If you’ve never done this trade, it’s one of the options in your order entry system. Or, simply call your broker. I think we want to own this today.

ALERT: enter a day limit order to buy USD (2 x Semi ETF), @ $32.25 or better (last trade; $31.80). It’s ok to pay a bit more. 

The semis led higher today, closing up 3%, with Broadcom announcing a $10 billion share buyback.

This should be a trade of at least several days. Again, seeing signs of near term capitulation.
